7/31/25 - Exciting Personal & Professional Updates

Hello!

Anthony Burds here - owner of Burds’ Lawn Care. I wanted to take a moment to share some personal updates, express my tremendous appreciation to the community, and provide some insights into the future.

Since 1999, the community has been supporting the “Burds’ boys” in the pursuit of saving for college. I joined the business when I was 13 years old and became the sole owner when I turned 16. With graduation (2018) from college behind me, the pursuit has shifted to: serving as much of our community as we can, being a place of employment, and supporting a growing family… 

Speaking of, I am thrilled to share that I will soon (9/13/25) be getting married! Lucy, my fiance, and I are so excited to be tying the knot, and will be looking to settle down here in Williston where she can continue her job at Global Foundaries, and I can continue to serve this great community.

As this exciting milestone approaches, I have been doing a great deal of reflection. I really can’t thank the community and my customers enough for supporting me through the years — and the small but mighty team I now have. We are privileged to be able to serve you. 

Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to continue to serve your needs in the world of “maintenance-scaping” including the upcoming leaf clean-ups. Additionally, with a growing team comes team members with a variety of different backgrounds, and skills including a combined 30 years of experience in the home remodel and renovation industry. As a result, we have been expanding to offer a wide range of services, including: Patio Creation & Maintenance, Framing, Insulation, Drywall (installation and repair), Interior Painting, Crown Molding, Tiling (floors, backsplash, bathrooms), Flooring (hardwood, LVP, porcelain, carpet), Hardwood Refinishing, and Cabinetry Installation.
