12/1/16 - Founding Father Updates

Dear Burds’ Lawn Care Customers:

As we close our books for the 2016 growing season and pack away the lawn mowing equipment, we would like to express our gratitude for the opportunity to serve you and your lawn care needs this summer, our seventeenth year in business! 

As the primary provider of your lawn care services, it has been my pleasure to serve you this year. First, a few updates on the “Founding Fathers” of Burds’ Lawn Care. Ben continues in his role as Salesperson with Schneider Electric in the Boston area, where he lives with his wife, Courtney. Jason continues to serve our nation in the Marine Corps reserves near Camp Pendleton in Southern California where he is also taking college classes. Lastly, I am in my second year at St. Lawrence University working towards a B.S in economics and Business. I am active in student government, joined the Rugby team, and a variety of other clubs.

I plan to continue my active involvement with Burds’ Lawn Care throughout the next few years. This business has been an important source of funding for college education for my brothers and I. Soon Jason will return from California to rejoin the business while he attends college locally.
