Hello Neighbors,
I hope you all had a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving typically marks the end of the landscaping season. Usually by this point the leaves are collected, the ground is frozen, and a dusting of snow has appeared on the mountains. In this regard, this year is no different.
As many of you know, my brothers and I started Burds’ Lawn Care as a means to pay for college when we were middle-schoolers at WCS, built it as high schoolers at CVU, and now continue to grow it past our college days at St. Lawrence University. While Burds' Lawn Care has not served all of our neighbors,in 21 years of business we have served many of you. Let me tell you about our progress this year.
Although we had a slow start this season due to the pandemic shut-down we ultimately served more neighbors, spread more mulch, mowed more lawns, and finished more cleanups & homeowner projects than any previous year. And I want to thank you for your support.
In addition to our regular services, we started a compost pick-up service to help our neighbors comply with ACT 148 which went into effect July 1st 2020.
With your help, next year, Burds’ Lawn Care will deliver quality service, preserve our environment, and provide employment opportunities in our community.
In the off season we are still available and eager to serve you with your compost collection needs. We provide this service year-round for both weekly & bi-weekly pickups.
Thank you again for a great season. I look forward to serving you as your Williston based compost collector, landscaper, and/or lawn mower.
On behalf of the Burds’ Lawn Care team I want to wish you a happy and safe Holiday season.
Anthony Burds
